Went here just before Christmas 2014, great hotel, well placed, great views of the city from the upper floors

I have never lost myself in a hotel room until I stayed here. My room has its own lobby, a formal living, a dining room, a media room, a living room which can be converted into a twin bedroom, a master bedroom with huge walking wardrobe and ensuite. All of this was just the cost of a standard suite with free upgrade because I booked from Amex Fine Hotel & Resort

The Peninsula Beijing particulate a an absolute oasis in the city. We visited around Christmas and the hotel was immaculately decorated. The staff are fantastic and are so very helpful, friendly, and professional. The rooms are perfection, large, gorgeous and equipped with anything you need. The spa is a special experience, incredibly beautiful with great treatments available. The lobby bar has an incredible continental breakfast spread that was a treat to partake in each day before exploring the city. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Centrally located. Just a short walk away from shops and subway stations. Huge well equipped rooms. Lots of luxuries, like digital controls in all the rooms, large screen TV's in the bedroom, lounge and bathroom. Automated curtains. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We recently stayed at The Peninsula Beijing on our engagement trip. The hotel is very nice. Large suites with separate bedroom. Nice decor. Best of all the entire room is controlled on iPads and smart phones for everything from temperature to lighting and drapes. Really good location that is very walkable to fashionable part of the city with tons of shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself has every imaginable luxury brand boutique store inside the hotel. If you want high end shopping- Gucci, LV, Prada, Chanel etc etc- you don’t even have to leave your hotel to shop. There must be 15+ luxury boutiques. But the best part of the stay was the wonderful concierge team. Specifically Alzack and his assistant Eunice. Alzack reached out to me prior to my arrival to get input on our upcoming trip. I emailed him a photo of my fiancée and I along with some information about our likes etc that he requested. When we arrived at the hotel Alzack was there to meet us at the entrance and immediately escorted us to our room where we were delighted to find he had our photograph in the room framed along with a delicious cake, a bottle of champagne, fruit and the most gorgeous Lily flowers we have ever seen. It was a wonderful welcome that set the tone for our entire trip. The flowers filled the room with great smell the entire stay. His assistant Eunice also had a nice surprise for us as well at the end of a day touring the Great Wall. She had a photo of us on the Wall sent by our guide framed and waiting on us as well. The two of them combined for probably the best concierge service I have ever experienced and really made our trip even more special...thank you Alzack and Eunice! I would highly recommend this first class hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.
